Willa & Mae is the concept of sisters, Rana Reuther and Emma Clark. Their desire for beautiful sleepwear, took them on a search around the world. Not content with the stock standard, mass-produced garments on the market, it wasn’t long before the sisters realised they would need to make their own.
The choice of fabric was obvious – SILK, but not any silk, it had to be the best silk that glowed as it draped the body and looked alive. The search for quality lace has now taken them to France and the finest lace makers in the world where the lace is still made on traditional Leavers Looms in small batches.
Willa & Mae designs have a feel of 1930’s glamour. It’s an era that epitomizes elegance and extravagance, with a colour palette of delicate muted tones.
