Mark a milestone with Meadowlark Charms

Meadowlark’s newest charm collection is a vibrant celebration of sea creatures, fruits, and symbols of luck, alongside updated versions of beloved Meadowlark icons. Designed to capture moments and memories, each piece offers wearers the opportunity to tell their own story through personal symbolism.

The collection introduces seven new charms, including a whimsical crab, lobster, and shark—each inspired by the beauty and mystery of the sea. Complementing these are playful fruit charms, like the zesty lemon and summery cherry, the latter drawing on 90s tattoo art and paired with a set of dice to symbolize chance and fortune. Meadowlark’s signature A-Z cursive letters and a new swivel necklace, capable of holding up to three charms, also make an appearance in this collection.

Creative Director Claire Hammon notes, “We’re seeing charms everywhere right now, from runways to accessories. For this collection, we embraced the nostalgia of the 90s with cherries, dice, and fun summer motifs like the crab and lobster.”

Each charm is designed with an oval jump ring, making it easy to pair with existing necklaces, chains, and earring hoops. Available in 9ct gold, 23kt gold-plated sterling silver, and sterling silver, these pieces are crafted to be timeless, personal additions to any jewellery collection.

The new Charms collection is in Meadowlark stores and online NOW. Discover the magic and symbolism behind each charm and find the perfect piece to reflect your personal story and style.

Lace or Laceless? Adidas urges you to pick your player with the new Taekwondo’s

The emerging low-profile sneaker trend has taken over the streets of Europe this summer, blending sleek minimalism with everyday functionality. Defined by its lower-cut silhouette and thin rubber sole, the trend showcases a clean, streamlined aesthetic that caters to modern tastes. This look isn’t just about fashion—it’s about versatility and comfort, offering a feminine edge that can seamlessly transition from casual daywear to elevated evening looks.

In response to this growing trend, adidas Originals has introduced two standout styles, the Taekwondo and Japan, which are poised to be the must-have sneakers of the season. Both designs encapsulate the essence of the low-profile movement, combining form and function in a way that is both fashionable and practical.

The Taekwondo sneaker takes inspiration from martial arts, offering a lightweight feel with subtle details that make it effortlessly chic. Meanwhile, the Japan sneaker pays homage to vintage athletic styles, fusing retro elements with modern-day appeal. With their clean lines and adaptable style, both models fit perfectly within the low-profile sneaker trend, making them the ultimate footwear choice for summer and beyond.

With a rich history rooted in sport, the Taekwondo sneaker is making a comeback in street-style fashion. Its minimal, slip-on design draws inspiration from the early 2000s while paying homage to martial arts. Crafted from soft leather, these sneakers offer streamlined comfort, with a super low-profile rubber outsole that provides flexible traction. The bold forefoot stitching, iconic 3-stripes, and distinctive lace cover set them apart, making them an instant everyday staple.

Available in both lace-up ($160 NZD) and laceless ($180 NZD) styles, the Taekwondo sneaker merges heritage with modern streetwear.
