Jasmin Sparrow’s latest collection puts us in an empire state of mind.
Continuing her exploration of modern and sculptural forms, Jasmin Sparrow remains faithful to her signature aesthetic with her latest collection, New York, New York. Inspired by the vibrant energy of the Lower East Side, the collection is brought to life through Clara Pufundi’s photography in New York. The story begins with a focus on the classic chain, featuring bracelets and necklaces crafted with rounded, continuous links and finished with a custom clasp.
Repetitive metal forms undulate around the body, with opposing shapes bending towards each other. Mixed metals enhance a layered effect, while dome-shaped earrings emerge from playful experimentation, transforming metal sheets into liquid-like contours that appear to melt off the earlobe. Weighted bangles amplify wrist movements, accentuating long sleeves. High-polished finishes serve as reflective surfaces, blending the wearer with their surroundings, deepening the experience of dressing for the city that never sleeps.
