Fashion fan’s favourite week of the year, New Zealand Fashion Week, returns for its seventeenth year from August 28th – September 3rd at Auckland’s Viaduct Event Centre. The event has grown considerably since it was first launched and this year will see another busy schedule of shows with established and emerging designers showcasing their Autumn/Winter 2018 collections. FashioNZ has been there reviewing every show since the beginning of NZFW and we are looking forward to covering them all this year too.

One of the most exciting things about fashion week is the creativity and talent on display as many different brands showcase their unique vision and take on fashion. NZFW has launched the careers of many of New Zealand’s top designers and provides a platform for our local labels to be noticed on a high-profile stage by international and local media and buyers.

New Zealand Fashion Weekend has been incredibly popular since its inception and offers the public the chance to be part of the fun and glamour of the fashion week experience. This year it will open on September 1st and have a full schedule of runway shows, seminars, shopping and beauty experiences. It’s always buzzing with energy and tickets for Fashion Weekend will be on sale from July 10th with coveted front row tickets set to sell-out fast.

The New Zealand Fashion Week designer announcement will be made in late July and we will update you with all the news in the lead-up to the big event this year.
