So Simple’s natural, handmade skincare products.
We now live in an age where more people are aware of the harsh chemicals in many products and are opting for natural alternatives especially when it comes to what we put on our skin. Among the New Zealand-based skincare companies to emerge from this awareness is So Simple whose range of products are handmade here in small batches inspired by family beauty recipes that have been passed down. The brand was launched in July last year and is quickly finding favour with natural beauty fans for its great products.
Each product is made from natural, effective ingredients with the goal being simple but results orientated skincare that will make your skin the best it can be. They’ve taken old beauty recipes and given them a modern twist by using high-potency ingredients to create products that actually do what they say they do.
So Simple aim to help you achieve glowing, hydrated skin with their skincare range which includes face and body products, many of which are vegan friendly. The ingredients are safe, non-toxic and made in small quantities with the entire production process closely supervised by humans rather than machines.
So what’s it like to use? I’ve been trying the Rise and Shine Milky Cleansing Grains and Sleeping Beauty Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C Anti-Aging Serum for a few weeks now and are really enjoying both products. The cleanser leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh while being really gentle even though it has a slightly grainy texture. It’s definitely an addictive cleanser and when paired with the serum I love how soft and supple my face feels afterwards. The serum requires a good shake to properly blend the product and has a subtle scent which I really like. A few weeks on and I feel like my skin has more of a glow and looks more fresh even if I’m not feeling my best.
So Simple have created wonderful products that don’t irritate my skin and do what they say they will which makes them a must-try if you’re looking for new natural skincare.
