Muse launched Season 4 of their coveted Muse Cashmere range today with the elegant new pieces arriving at Muse boutiques and online. The gorgeous cashmere collection comprises of 25 pieces which expands on the brand’s previous collections. Owner Olivia Healy designs the range with her Muse team focusing on functionality and refined design to make the cashmere pieces wardrobe staples in Muse’s customers wardrobes. The chic simplicity of the pieces means they will last beyond just one season and are made to last.
“Cashmere is timeless, it can work within anyone’s wardrobe no matter their age or style,” says Muse owner Olivia Healy. “It’s incredibly functional because its light weight, doesn’t crinkle and can be worn year round. It’s an essential and practical investment and this collection has been designed and crafted to outlive trends.”
Muse Cashmere has been crafted from the finest cashmere fibres and blends from Nepal and Monglia which ensures longevity and functionality. While on a recent trip to Nepal, the Muse team discovered new cashmere weights specifically weaved to suit different uses and weather environments at a local family-owned supplier. The Muse team have utilised this cashmere merino blend (70/30) for the brand’s full-length Fleur dress and Milly ribbed tee as the new blend has increased wearability. The rest of the range is made from 100% cashmere in different weights which makes each piece comfortable and warm.
The range is comprised of 10 key styles that include a classic double faced cashmere wrap, which is a Muse Cashmere staple and has appeared in every collection. This season it’s available in easy neutral combinations of camel/ivory, camel/grey and black/black. The beautiful Fleur dress offers ribbed detailing and is designed to add a 70’s glamour to your wardrobe. While the luxurious Joe pant and Sophie sweater are perfect for travelling and are suitably co-ordinated. Rounding out the collection are elevated classic sweater styles and a ribbed fitted tee. A suitably autumnal colour palette features soft heather grey, ivory, almond, mushroom and charming pops of colour with blush, lilac and rust.
“We’ve put a lot of thought into this season, the Fleur dress is a more fashionable piece, but still a classic style featuring a thigh high split, and an option with a lower split below the knee for practicality,” says Muse Cashmere designer, Rebe Burgess. “Both are easily paired with boots or sneakers. The chic travel set is perfect travel. We go on buying trips four times a year and nothing beats snuggling up in chic cashmere that’s breathable and warm.”
The Muse Cashmere collection was the brainchild of Olivia four years ago after a buying trip to New York, where she met the owners of a family-run cashmere business in Nepal. Olivia had adored cashmere from a young age which she attributes to her grandmother who Olivia describes as the ‘cashmere queen’. We can certainly imagine Muse Cashmere being worn by royalty and Muse’s many fans alike.
