The latest range from moochi has arrived in stores and online with elegant wardrobe updates across it’s different ranges. The brand’s many fans will love the palette 3: lucent additions to moochi’s eponymous mainline, faithfuls and six & seven offerings. Lucent was created as ‘an external expression of internal enlightenment’ and continues moochi’s directional approach to fashion. The collection is an interplay between past and present/masculine and feminine/light and dark, and pays homage to where the brand has been whilst continuing to move ever-onwards.
For each of the brand’s labels there is a juxtaposition of strength and softness which results in modern designs with fascinating details. Whether it’s pretty ruffles on an otherwise clean silhouette or a delicate broderie collar on a boxy tshirt, the moochi wearer has unexpected options to elevate their wardrobe. A chic colour palette of easy going neutrals in mocha, biscuit, buttermilk and bone offer suitably cosy hues for the cooler months while pops of leaf green, teal, dusky pink and peony offer an optimism looking toward early spring.
The moochi mainline range heroes androgynous design and utilitarian pieces for palette 3, with military inspired details and natural fabrications. Softer styles come in luxurious sandwash satin which makes for languid dresses and pants. Faithfuls leans towards minimalism with stylish regenerated chiffon styles that feature occasional playful ruffles and clever details. The more casual looks come from six & seven’s off-duty options which feature moochi’s take on athleisure in considered technical fabrications.
For the accompanying campaign imagery, moochi enlisted talented photographer Guy Coombes, who captured the three moods of lucent through each label. The use of concrete, graphic lighting and different architectural forms makes for striking imagery that conveys the journey of enlightenment while also referencing the architecture that underpins the collection. Palette 3 is moochi’s way of guiding the wearer through the winter before stepping confidently into the light of spring.
