Miss Crabb‘s newest collection called Neoclassica launches tomorrow and it’s a clever edit of classic Miss Crabb pieces that will be released twice a year. The range features favourite pieces from Miss Crabb’s 14 year archive in new colours and fabrics that will be sure to delight designer Kristine Crabb’s many fans. The designer has always focused on timelessness and creating garments that are fluid and easy to wear. Delving into her archive, Crabb found some great pieces that have been given new life in this range such as the iconic Sovereign dress and Fleetwood Mac dress (first made in 2010), which are both personal favourites of the designer.
Popular styles from recent seasons; the C’Mon Billie shirt and PJ Harvey trousers, signature robes, the Dreams Top Rock, World Record dresses and ‘Barbie’ pink suit ensemble all feature in the first Neoclassica collection. Miss Crabb’s beautiful Valentina Jacket and La Rosa trousers have been recreated in luscious black satin which are oh so covetable and are already new favourites amongst the brand’s fans.
The designer’s easy to wear ‘one-size’ pieces that languidly drape the body also feature in this range and are designed to cater to the ever-changing female form. “I was initially inspired by this concept when I was having my babies,” adds Kristine Crabb. “I needed beautiful stuff to wear that wasn’t necessarily only for pregnancy and that I could continue to wear! It works so well in a commercial sense too; our pieces are for all women”. Each piece is simply cut in geometric shapes and have become a signature style of the brand.
Neoclassica arrives at Miss Crabb on Tuesday, 20th February and will be presented via a live mannequin window display in store at 41 Ponsonby Road.
