Well Made Clothes and Miss Crabb share the same philosophy when it comes to fashion which is to design, sell and wear good quality clothes that are ethically made, not driven by trends and will last for many years to come. Well Made Clothes are about to release a new collection called ‘Kairos’ and have collaborated with Miss Crabb on three dresses for the range. Kairos will be available on Well Made Clothes and Miss Crabb from tomorrow, Wednesday 13th September.
The name Kairos is from ancient Greek, meaning the right moment. As it turns out the ancient Greeks had two words for time, chronos, which is specific sequential time – like calendars, alarms and deadlines etc. being one. Kairos being the other which is about moments and events in time, and the philosophical nature of time. The idea being that the dresses in the Kairos collection are perfect for those celebratory moments and have a timelessness which means they can be worn for many occasions and events that will long be burned into your memory.
The remarkable team of women behind Well Made Clothes and Miss Crabb wanted to celebrate the creative spirit that is built into kairos time when capturing the dresses for this collection. To do that they enlisted the help of the women they admire from the Sydney-based band, Body Type, who are a four-piece indie rock band. Body Type specialise in those kinds of perfect pop songs that you find yourself singing along to for no reason or for significant reasons and have already supported internationally renowned artists Japandroids, Pond, and The Courtneys with their debut EP set for release later this year.
