Mina may be just over a year into its life as a womenswear label but the brand by designer Natalie Procter is definitely one to watch. Following on from the beautiful Golden Hour collection for Spring/Summer, Mina has recently released a new Autumn/Winter collection called Cocoon that is a sophisticated step forward for the brand.

Winter is all about cosy garments, and much like a cocoon protects a caterpillar from the elements, Natalie wants the Mina wearer to feel enveloped in warm, beautiful textiles. The new collection features lovely natural fibres like NZ wool and silk as well as more translucent fabrications. Layering is key with this contemporary range which includes tailored shirting, wrap dresses, midi skirts and asymmetric tops. The silhouettes are clean and modern, with Mina playing with sheer layers for a captivating effect.

Each Mina garment is designed to last with Natalie following an ethical framework for her brand and aiming to create timeless pieces. She knows her mindful customer appreciates the attention to detail and sustainable approach that goes into making a Mina piece. The designer is proud of producing slow fashion and has a close knit local supply chain in order to maintain a relationship with each person involved. Mina shows that stylish and sustainable fashion is the way forward, not just into the new season, but into the future.
