Mi Piaci‘s latest collection for Spring/Summer 2016/17 called “Solar Revival” has just arrived in stores and it has a sunny outlook for the warmer months with revivals of some footwear classics for the new season. Spring is about renewal which makes it the perfect time to re-invent beloved styles including slingbacks, slides, platforms and loafers with flared heels, clever details and warm tones of blush, rust and burgundy.
There’s a distinctly 90s feel about this range which mirrors the trends towards that era that we’ve been seeing a lot of on the runway and many of those styles were re-interpretations of popular 70s looks. Suede is a recurring feature in this collection and works beautifully on mules, sandals and divine heels, as does leather. Navy, grey, white and brown make up the more traditional footwear hues with plenty of clean but chic styles alongside the more daring ones making oh so many choices for the Mi Piaci fan this season.
The new campaign features the gorgeous Ashleigh Good who also featured in Mi Piaci’s Winter 2016 campaign and looks confident and elegant as always. The clothing choices for the images are seasonal but simple with the footwear and handbags clearly the star of the show as they should be. We can’t make up our minds between the stunning navy flared heels, burgundy mules or rust lace up sandals but then there’s everything in beautiful blush and brown to consider too. We bet there will be many long wish-lists from this collection but the best part is it’s started arriving in Mi Piaci stores now with more drops to come over the next few months.
