Leading Australasian beauty retailer, MECCA Brands has just opened the doors to their largest New Zealand store to date, in Auckland’s Sylvia Park. The 12th MECCA store in New Zealand opened its doors this morning to excited shoppers looking to get their hands on over 100 of MECCA’s blockbuster brands, with cult-classics such as NARS, Hourglass, Urban Decay and Laura Mercier; skincare fanatics on the hunt for the latest glow-givers can discover a compelling line-up from Drunk Elephant, Tatcha, Summer Fridays and Glow Recipe; or choose to shop local with home-grown favourites sans [ceuticals] and Syrene. Just to name a few!

Driving the future of beauty and experiential retailing, the new two-level, 491 square metre destination will provide customers with an even bigger and more beauty-full shopping experience. Extending the retail experience beyond product, MECCA’s Sylvia Park has four dedicated beauty service zones featuring over 20 different services across skin treatments, fragrance consultations, makeup applications and MECCA first exclusive brow zone in New Zealand – offering tinting, sculpting and lamination, so customers can try out the latest trends for achieving feathery, fluffy-looking brows. For customers looking for a more relaxing service, sit back and enjoy one of MECCA’s six skin care treatments customised to individual skincare needs and delivered in a fully reclinable facial chair.

The Sylvia Park store also features a MECCA Perfumeria, home to the most sought-after brands including Byredo, diptyque, Frederic Malle and Maison Francis Kurkdjian, with dedicated fragrance experts on hand to help customers find the perfect scent. Injecting even more pure joy and personalisation into MECCA’s retail experience is the always-on program of edutainment and brand immersion via the six-seater Beauty Lab. Designed to help shoppers unearth fresh beauty favourites, experiment with the latest products, and learn new tricks and techniques, MECCA’s Beauty Lab concept will provide customers with a space to experiment to their heart’s content.

Across opening weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) all services will be complimentary, including express makeup applications, facials, brow styling, dry hairstyling and Beauty Lab classes. Plus, spend $85 or more in-store across opening weekend for an exclusive gift with purchase, including full-size product from Drunk Elephant, NARS, Laura Mercier or Urban Decay.
