MECCA Maxima is sure to delight beauty fans in Wellington.
The wait is over for beauty fans in Wellington as the new MECCA Maxima opens at 1 Willis Street in the city tomorrow. The 204-square metre one-stop-beauty-shop will offer an exceptional range of the latest beauty products with over 40 of the best global makeup, skin, hair and fragrance brands available in store.
For the first time Wellington beauty fans will have access to exclusive brands Urban Decay, Too Faced, frank body, Eyeko London, Chosungah 22, Mario Badescu and Drunk Elephant that they could previously only buy online. These brands sit alongside MECCA favourites NARS, By Terry, Stila, Hourglass and GlamGlow with new skincare brands Mizon and Patchology hitting shelves in early May.
“We’re so excited to open our first North Island Maxima in the capital,” says Maria Tsaousis, MECCA’s Head of Retail. “Wellington’s beauty lovers have always been very supportive of MECCA so it was a natural next step for us.”
The new store opens at 9am with lots of exciting offerings for shoppers including MECCA-mazing Envelope Wall that lets customers who spend $90 or more reveal a beauty surprise. Prizes up for grabs include MECCA gift cards and product from the likes of Urban Decay, Too Faced, bareMinerals and NARS. There are six stations for makeup applications and skin consultations where beauty fans can learn about the hottest products and trends from MECCA Maxima’s beauty experts.
Mecca Maxima Wellington is the fifth store in New Zealand’s MECCA network and the company plans to keep expanding its footprint here with more stores over the next few years.
