Jewellery from Meadowlark’s Gloria collection. Images supplied.
Meadowlark recently released the first part of their new two-part jewellery offering called Gloria. The elegant new collection features intricately detailed amulets and opulent oversized pearls and delicate seed pearls in its first drop. Meadowlark have always favoured meaningful symbolism and this time they’ve used elaborately etched roses (for love), lightning bolts (for strength) and doves (for inner peace) on beautifully detailed signet rings and pendants.
Gloria is a collection which continues Meadowlark’s love of coloured gemstones with customers able to choose from blue, pink or white sapphires. The range also sees more of the brand’s favoured pearls with glossy freshwater pearl drops featuring on a cleverly mismatched pair of earrings that showcase both a rose and a dove.
Adding a new strand to their range of pearls are the micropearl pieces which include a bracelet, anklet and necklace each strung with tiny, radiant seed pearls. These subtle pieces are suitably understated on their own or able to be layered with other Meadowlark pieces for a strong look.
The anklet is a new piece for the brand and is a nod both to ancient times – the ankle adornment has been worn across the centuries as a symbol of femininity – and to a new age. This new age of Meadowlark is truly glorious indeed. The next release from the range is in April 2020.
