Maaike recently launched the first drop of their gorgeous new Pansy Pop collection which features striking prints and vivid hues. Founders and designers Emilie Pullar and Abby van Schreven are known for using unique, custom prints and this range sees hero prints featuring pansies, watercolours and squiggles on the brand’s favoured relaxed silhouettes.
“We wanted to create a fun, bright, happy range full of super wearable pieces that would hopefully put a big smile on your face when you wear them,” said Emilie and Abby. “The Pansy Print is a Maaike take on a floral with large abstract pansies collaged in rich hues of purple, magenta and blue. The Watercolour print is a fluid painted print peppered with graphic lines and rich pops of orange and yellow. The graphic squiggle is a Maaike classic with two different versions in this range.”
The collection features beautifully draped dresses and tops with featured asymmetric hems in shapes that skim the body. There’s also cleverly cut pants, jumpers for layering and a stunning jumpsuit that is a Maaike staple. Each piece is carefully crafted in Aotearoa and designed to last for seasons to come.
