Looks from hej hej’s new Linen to Live By collection. Images supplied.
Linen is the perfect fabric for Summer and hej-hej have just dropped their aptly named Summer 2020 collection ‘Linen to Live By’, which is in store at BLOC Collective and online now. Co-founders Alice Isles and KiKi Judd wanted the range to remind us about the frivolity, happiness and fun in fashion which definitely comes through in the playfulness of these pieces.
As always, linen is the hero fabric of hej hej’s collection and there’s lots to love about the light weight and breeziness of their beloved fibre, not to mention it’s soft texture and breathability. This range continues in the brand’s modern and appealing signature style with the odd nostalgic twist that is charming and feminine. Pretty puffed sleeves and sweet embroidered daisies add a sense of whimsy to the collection that is juxtaposed with clean blazers and sleek bias cut skirts.
This season’s colour palette is a delight with hues of periwinkle blue, marigold, strawberry red, deep navy and white. Some of the brand’s popular styles like the sleeveless wrap dress and button front pants have returned again this season in their fresh colours while the puffy tops and a beautifully tailored dress are among the new styles from hej hej. There is a suitably relaxed feel to this wonderful range which offers plenty of gorgeous options to take hej hej fans anywhere they want to go this summer.
