Liam's Turning Caramel This Autumn

Looks from Liam's 'Caramel Revisited' collection.

As autumn collections arrive daily, Liam is the latest label to drop their new range which arrives in RUBY stores today. Designer Emily Miller-Sharma is known for finding unique muses for her elegant Liam collections and this season her collection is called 'Caramel Revisited' which is inspired by Connan Mockasin's new album Caramel. Connan created his album on the idea of what caramel might be like in sonic form, and the songs 'weave trippy soul beats and effects that are both unsettling and comforting to your ears'. Miller-Sharma's idea was to “make a collection that feels just like the album sounds” and has achieved this by utilising a slightly undone silhouette that is distinct and flush with character.

The colour palette for the new range is suitably autumnal with earthy tones brightened up by sky blue and tumeric. There is lots to choose from for work, evening and everyday looks, with beautiful coats and jackets highlighted by gold button details and cleverly draped dresses high on the list of covetable pieces. The idea of purposeful clashing resonates through the collection but in ways that are subtle and not overdone, there is still very much an effortless look to these pieces that is sophisticated and fresh.
