Looks from Liam’s Give In, Give Out Spring 2017 collection.
Liam release their Spring collection into RUBY stores and online tomorrow and this season it’s a personal journey for designer Emily Miller-Sharma. Titled “Give In, Give Out” the collection takes a beneficent approach with the designer celebrating the practice of slowing down and encouraging you to surrender to the ebb and flow of life. Enjoy the experience and decide what this range means to you.
The rich colours and contemplative feel of seventies fashion inspired this new Liam collection with a window back in time to the counterculture hippie movement. A mix of moody and soft florals form a base for these elegant pieces with stripes, ruffles and a bit of sheen adding a fascinating effect. The Audrey Floral is a meaningful print to Miller-Sharma with its fresh pink bouquets that point warmly toward the heavens, paying tribute to the designer’s late grandmother.
Rich maroon anchors the colour palette with indigo, khaki and black contrasting with clean whites for a modern twist on seventies style. Linen makes for easy to wear wide-legged pants and a-line skirts that are great for the warming spring weather. Light knit tops and moleskin trousers make for perfect transeasonal pieces while sophisticated evening dresses add an elegant touch of Liam sparkle.
Part one of Liam’s Spring collection arrives tomorrow with part two set to arrive in stores and online in mid-September.
