Liam‘s latest collection arrives in stores and online today and celebrates the spirit of collaboration. Titled We Did It, designer Emily Miller-Sharma was inspired by the team that work with her on the brand and the bond they share. The designer also wants to ‘encourage the wearer to be playful and take control of her own body’ with this new collection which embraces movement and fluidity.

It takes a lot of work and creativity to bring a collection to life, from paper drawings to patterns to fabric that is cut and shaped to produce the perfect garment. It’s energetic and inspiring work and the details of which are beautifully captured in this range. Miller-Sharma has used the tucks and folds once sculpted from crisp paper as the pillars of the collection and you can see those ideas in the draped and folded fabric of these garments like the Hera Wrap Top whereas ruffles take the lead on the Mel Blouse.

Sophisticated coats in long-line lengths and elegant gowns ensure the Liam woman is suitably confident and winsomely dressed this season. The Sarah Gown is a refined example of the designer’s subtle hand with its charming back details and flattering shape. A striking colour palette of red, carmine, navy, beige, oatmeal and black makes for a range of stunning looks that also feature eye-catching floral prints.

Muse and musician Chelsea Jade, a long-time friend of the brand is the energetic model for the campaign and also has the delightful Chelsea Gown named in her honour. Miller-Sharma feels Chelsea Jade ’embodies the essence of the collection with her self-determination and vibrancy’ and these campaign images wonderfully capture her energy and spirit.
