Levi’s new All Pronouns, All Love collection for 2021 comes in celebration of LGBTQIA communities – an artful reminder to learn and use the respective pronouns of those free to love whoever, however. 100% of net proceeds will go to OutRight Action International, an organisation that advances the rights of LGBTQ+ people worldwide.
“We are proud to celebrate the LGBTQIA community each year with our Pride collection and by participating in Pride events across the globe,” says Levi’s Brand President Jen Sey. “We find it so important to see people as they want to be seen. Which is why this year, our goal is to showcase the Pride collection with a call you can’t ignore: Respect all pronouns.”
Since its inception in 1853, Levi’s has championed equality and inclusiveness. Among other firsts, Levi’s was the first Fortune 500 company to extend health benefits to same sex partners.
All Pronouns, All Love is a unisex range with a rainbow graphic motif, inspired by the waving rainbow flag of San Francisco’s Castro district. The collection offers everyday pieces such as the Liberation Trucker Jacket, and those that make an even bigger statement. The Liberation Jumpsuit is a key piece made of white canvas with the pronouns “they/them, she/her, he/him, we” printed in holographic rainbow foil. With garments like these, the collection demands attention for a worthy cause. Two graphic tees, a tank, a relaxed graphic crew and sports bra round out the collection which is available at Levi’s Sylvia Park, Wellington and Dunedin, and online at Levis.co.nz.
