Perfectly timed for the chilly weather, new local brand Knitted recently launched online offering quality knitwear at an accessible price. Founder Cameo Turner wanted to create an ethical and transparent knitwear brand and spent the past year researching and sourcing New Zealand wool for her cosy pieces. The aim of Knitted is to break the barrier between quality and price for consumers, with garments that are timeless and made to last.
Cameo journeyed to the deep southern Catlins and out to the Tauranga coast to find the perfect wool and manufacturers for her New Zealand made brand. Each piece can be traced from origin to finished product meaning customers can be sure of the quality and ethics of their knitwear.
The initial collection from Knitted features six styles that will be released in two drops, the first is available now and the next drop will arrive in early Spring. Each of the six styles are easy to incorporate into your wardrobe with a range of cardigans, sweaters and tops on offer. The collection features beautifully soft fabrications including 100% merino and silk and cashmere blends. Customers will love the pared back colour palette for easy dressing which includes classic black, periwinkle, camel and French vanilla.
Knitted’s small but perfectly formed collection has been produced in limited runs to ensure that the brand can slowly build on their offering depending on what customers love. The pieces are meant to be seasonless and easily layered all year round.
Knitted’s debut collection is available online now and is priced from $189 – $389.
