Karen Walker‘s latest range of eyewear has just been released and it’s a colourful collection called From Karen with Love. The new sunglasses certainly give the phrase eye candy new meaning with their lolly colours and eye-catching shapes.
The designer has gone for oversized shapes with exaggerated proportions that make for stunning eyewear. New styles include Return to Sender and Loveville, which come in translucent watermelon acetate frames with coral pink lenses. They also feature Karen’s signature arrow motif that has been super-enlarged and mattified in matching watermelon.
Arrow details in contrasting matte black make a style statement on classic Crazy Tort, as well as in a reversed-out colourway with Crazy Tort on black. Circular style Romancer with its bold frames and smoke tint lenses is available in black-on-black or coral against Crazy Tort.
Karen has utilised a beautiful new hue in aubergine for the collection that works perfectly with sheer pale tan tint and a classic green lens. Rich burgundy works with both acetate and metallic aubergine frames in a variety of cat-eye styles. The aptly named Sweet Cat is a rimless lens in a 60s style that balances on acetate, while Kissy Kissy has a futuristic feel with its metal frame and lens that orbits in negative space.
