Child Cancer Foundation National Commercial Manager Jo Rodgers says the Foundation is immensely grateful to the support it has received from Kagi. Kagi are honoured to have Bella, as the model for their Hope Drops fundraising campaign. Bella was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, an aggressive cancer, when she was just 13 months old. Mum, Katie, tells Bella’s story: ‘Bella has endured six cycles of chemotherapy, a seven hour tumour removal operation, a bone marrow transplant, 12 days of radiation, and six months of immunotherapy. We spent countless weeks and months in hospital. During treatment Bella was fed through a nasogastric tube, so after treatment, aged two and a half, we had to teach her to eat again. We are now one year post-treatment and life is returning to a new kind of normal. She still has three monthly scans and so far so good. During this journey the Child Cancer Foundation was (and continues to be) an amazing support for our whole family in so many ways, and they will always hold a special place in our hearts.’
