Its a Melbourne Storm

Unstoppable brand STORM has opened their first Australian boutique on Melbourne’s Chapel St.

STORM has become one of New Zealand fashion’s leading success stories. With the first store opening in Newmarket just seven years ago, the brand now boasts 10 boutiques and a thriving online store.

Capturing a niche market and bridging the gap between chain store fashion and high end designer pieces.  With new styles arriving in store every week, exclusive fabrics and custom designed prints, customers are guaranteed a boutique shopping experience – without the high end price tag.

STORM’s founder, general manager and designer Deborah Caldwell says their point of difference is producing limited numbers of each design.

“There are usually only 15 to 20 of each style per store and online, in just a couple of different colourways. When they’re gone, they’re gone.”

Thanks to the huge success of the online store which launched in Australia just 18 months ago, STORM has decided the timing is perfect to open its very first Australian retail store.

Caldwell couldn’t be more excited about opening the Melbourne boutique and is confident Australians will love the STORM aesthetic as much as their stylish New Zealand sisters.

“There’s no point opening in Australia and wondering whether it will work. It will work – I don’t think any other way!”

Located on Melbourne’s innately fashionable Chapel Street, STORM’S first Australian boutique will capture the essence of the brand with a sleek 70 sq. metre store. A chic interior fit out, spacious design and floor to ceiling glass windows will ensure the new boutique provides a luxe shopping experience that reflects the brand’s high-end ethos.
