Lemon & Beaker is a New Zealand based skincare brand combining natural New Zealand grown ingredients and science to formulate premium products for a range of skin concerns.
Lemon & Beaker was founded by Hannah Hong, who discovered her love of skincare and fragrances after walking home from Epsom Girls Grammar school every day, stopping in at Smith & Caughey’s Newmarket to test and smell the products. Her knowledge of scents developed so well that she would be able to pick out the skincare or fragrance each woman was wearing as she walked past. Her love of scents turned into the want to experiment, creating her own products at home for herself, her family and her friends.
After high school, Hannah attended Auckland University studying a double major in Chemistry and Psychology. She then gained a Masters in International Business and Business Administration then completed her learning gaining a Diploma in Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy from CIDESCO. From there, Hannah developed and launched her brand Lemon & Beaker – the name coming from the two items she had on her desk at the time. Hannah uses her extensive knowledge as well as consulting with other industry experts, combining that knowledge with her choice of real ingredients and extracts from New Zealand fruits, plants and botanicals, leaving out all of the nasties such as parabens, sulphates, colouring and perfumes. Lemon & Beaker is vegan, animal cruelty free and eco-conscious, being packaged in glass containers with minimal plastic packaging.
Hannah explains, “I wanted to create a range that spoke of New Zealand that was accessible to young people, deliver results and provide a natural skincare routine for everyone.”

Vitamin C Serum with Lemon Essential Oil is formulated to brighten skin tone, reduce pigmentation and hydrate.
Ageless Serum with Jasmine Essential Oil is formulated naturally to reduce the appearance of fine lines, hydrate and improve skin texture.
Dual-Blend Repairing Serum with Rose Essential Oil is a natural, results-orientated botanic formulation. The unique blend of ingredients with added Rose Essential Oil has the ability to restore elasticity, boost moisture, brighten skin tone and reduce pigmentation naturally.
Brightening Rose Cream contains Rose Essential Oil from the Rosa Damascena plant. It is chosen for its calming and brightening and to boost hydration. Rose Essential Oil is also known to assist in the recovery of acne and the appearance of scars.
Hydrating Toner combines Rose Essential Oil with Rose Flower Water to maintain skin’s PH balance, providing a natural moisture cushion, while simultaneously reducing any redness from irritated skin caused by acne, dermatitis and eczema.
Foaming Deep Cleanser contains Lemon Peel Oil and Bergamot Oil and is formulated to cleanse away makeup and pollutants, to result in brighter and refreshed skin.
