Indian Summer

Tigerlily have just made summer a lot hotter, with their new summer collection, Indian Summer.

Inspired by rich colours of India, the pieces are an intoxicating cultural cocktail of region inspired textiles and prints.

This nostalgic journey has been captured in their signature styles, but continuously pushing the boundaries of textile development and engineered prints.

Highlight pieces include the traditional bandhini resist dyed Archa Shirt, the signature Rabari tribe inspired top and pants, the leopard Baroque Onesie and the Samode Beach Pant with engineered borders.

Inspired by the pool parties of the sixties in the Hollywood Hills, you can’t go past the Canacona high waist Shorts – a unique check paisley design referencing retro bikini muses.

Nor can the Salcette Skirt be overlooked – reminiscent of vintage palm print wallpaper the palette is fresh and cool, and features a high waist with front hem splits.

Delving into a cool palette of azure hues, the Sea Blues Tribal bikini story combines signature French jacquard in zigzag with paisley detailing and is adorned with multi yarn tassels, beads and buttons.

The Kerala story is reminiscent of the majestic florals of India – feminine, peachy tones printed on premium Italian shimmer mesh.

Progressive swim-suits include the Manipur Amelia – a cotton smocked corset bottom in shades of red and blue featuring a denim bonded bow for the top and the Assani One Piece – a textured seventies French jacquard developed by an innovative French Mill.

So enjoy those long, lingering summer days, awash with colours of an Indian haze thanks to Tigerlily.
