Inspired by seasons of change and newfound freedom, moochi’s autumn collection, palette two: in scape, has arrived in stores and online. The modern range pairs textured winter fabrics with earthy tones for on trend, off duty styling.
The nomadic muse of moochi’s summer collection is gone, replaced with the endemic to nature. She gets by, “appreciating our home and our landscapes, reflecting inwards for connection, contrasting with the desire to escape.” To translate that into the campaign the collection imagery was created in an Auckland Regional Park.
For the collection, moochi have chosen a colour palette that speaks to vast scapes and the colourful arrangements of nature. More natural tones of tan, camel, grey and charcoal set the scene for bursts of magenta violets and blues, all tied together with a dramatic flocked print. Fabrics are soft and breathable with floating chiffon and hints of velvet creating a textural experience for this season.
Among key pieces for the collection are the enrich dress and defying top in an airy, blue chiffon which makes for easy layering with bread and butter separates. The shirring mesh skin top is the perfect under-wear to take moochi’s sleeveless dresses into winter or paired back with a simple cami. The sleek rotate dress in mushroom features twist V-neck detailing and can be worn backwards for those wanting to get the most out of each wear.
