2019 sees iD Dunedin Fashion Week celebrating it’s 20th year of showcasing the best New Zealand and international fashion with the event planning some exciting changes. Firstly, the its two major shows iD International Emerging Designer Awards and iD Dunedin Fashion Show will be merged into one brilliant show that will happen on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March 2019. The combined show will bring the audience talented emerging designers as well as stellar established New Zealand designers showcasing their collections on the runway.
iD Dunedin Fashion Week is also moving its shows to a historic new venue with the Regent Theatre hosting in 2019. The charmingly ornate building is also in the heart of the city’s Octagon and offers a spectacular setting for some truly exciting fashion to take to the runway.
in the lead up the iD Dunedin Fashion Show will be a week of fashion inspired events throughout Dunedin. With events kicking off on Monday 11 March and running until Sunday 17 March 2019. The city will be buzzing with special fashion activities including events, lectures, parades, shopping and dining that include many of Dunedin’s favourite designers and places too.
