A proportion of each sale of Huffer’s new limited edition Chopper Appeal 2011 clothing range will go to New Zealand’s Rescue Helicopters. The design gang at Huffer has stamped ‘Team Chopper Rescue’ across two 100% cotton men’s tees, a 100% cotton long sleeve men’s tee, a 100% cotton women’s tee, and a unisex beanie.
The Huffer Team Chopper Rescue range is available from Huffer’s online store at www.hufferstore.com/chopper and the Chopper Appeal website www.chopperappeal.co.nz. Short sleeve tees are $50 and long sleeve tees are $60, with $10 from every sale going to the rescue helicopters. Beanies are $35 with a $5 donation. Freight is additional.
It’s the sixth year the Huffer gang has shown their support for this cause and Huffer designer hd steve says the team is loving being involved again.
“Heaps of Kiwis need this service each year, including enthusiasts of sports with extreme tendencies,” says hd steve. “It could be any one of us so we’re super happy to help out and support this worthy campaign.”
New Zealand’s Rescue Helicopters help save the lives of thousands of people every year and each mission can cost thousands of dollars. This varies from a mix of ambulance and search and rescue work – anything from airlifting boarders off ski fields and plucking surfers off rocks to attending to victims at road accidents and even emergency births.
Every dollar raised during the Westpac Chopper Appeal goes back to the local Rescue Helicopter trust. Donations for the 2011 Appeal, which runs through May, can be made:
