Campaign images from Huffer’s Common Ground collection.
It’s hard to believe streetwear brand Huffer is turning 20 years old this year but the 1997 lettered on their new Autumn collection “Common Ground” marks the important milestone. It’s definitely no small feat to not just survive but thrive in the fashion industry of the past two decades, so hats are definitely off to Steve Dunstan and his talented team.
Huffer have always done cool, practical streetwear incredibly well and this season is no different. The womenswear riffs with pastels which have crept into the collections of recent seasons. The classic tees, puffer jackets and sweatshirting are functional but still have femininity and is complemented by well-cut pants, mini skirts and easy to wear dresses.
Neutrals feature in the women’s and men’s wear with the guys reaching for plaid, stripes and block colours in casually cool vests, tees and pants. Every piece is designed to be worn over and over again becoming new favourites and cementing its place in the Huffer fan’s wardrobe. After 20 years there is no denying that Huffer always delivers the goods.
