Recently, we celebrated Love Your Body Day with a special photo shoot with our team, some of which we shot on camera and some was shot on the new OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G which is OPPO’s latest premium but affordable smartphone. We spent four hours on a mostly sunny Auckland Sunday on location getting to know the features of the phone and taking some great shots and videos.

OPPO are known for their technological innovations and bold design, with the Reno4 Series 5G a trend-setting device that is part of the new era of 5G smartphone experience. As you will be aware, 5G is super fast and everything about the Reno4 Pro 5G is super fast too. It starts with it’s quick charge that goes from 0 – 60% charged in just 15 mins and we’ve found a full charge takes just over half an hour which is very handy when you’re on the go a lot.

One of the best things about the latest smartphones is their sharp screens and this phone has a maximised OLED, 3D curved screen which is perfect for using the phone when you’re shooting with it but also for playing back videos and looking at photos. That’s aside from watching YouTube or Netflix etc. which this screen would be brilliant for.

But let’s get to the camera which is where the OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G truly shines and is amazing to use. The phone has some pretty impressive features with triple and quad camera setups, 48MP wide-angle lenses, 32MP front selfie cameras and 12MP Ultra Night Wide Angle Video Lens clearing a 120° super wide field of view. What that means is super sharp photos and videos that look exceptional a range of different modes to help you achieve your most creative and fun content whether you’re filming a TikTok or taking snaps of your new favourite outfit. We tried out a number of modes while shooting with the OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G and each one automatically adjusts to get the best photo every time.

We had a bit of cloudy weather while we were shooting which is where the low-light settings came in handy and meant our shots were still vivid and bright even when the light was fading. We did a few fun Instagram stories on the day too and the OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G’s Ultra Steady Video and Front Camera Steady Video mean your videos are smooth and stable meaning any movement you make while filming doesn’t effect the shot as much. There’s some other impressive video features that we didn’t get to use this time like Cinematic Mode which helps you film like a director and Hyperlapse which creates super fast clips that use the steady technology for a smooth clip.

Our shoot day went by really quickly and the long battery life meant we didn’t even need to recharge, we’re looking forward to using the OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G for more upcoming shoots and videos as we couldn’t be more impressed with it. If you’re thinking of getting one there are limited edition case designs that were created with two New Zealand artists, Natasha Vermeulen and Chippy, which make a playful addition to the phone. Prices for the Reno4 Series 5G range from RRP $799 – RRP$1299 and you can find out more at www.oppo.com/nz.
