Award season is in full swing and we’ve seen some major red carpet moments for the Grammys, Golden Globes and the Oscars. As usual, the stars were shining bright, with some making bold fashion and beauty choices and others making subtle political statements. Whatever the case, we love a good trend report, so here are our fave beauty looks for the 2020 award season.
Blunt lob
Stars like Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington and Zoey Deutch walked the carpet at this year’s Golden Globes with modern, structural, blunt lobs with a side part.
Metallic eyes
Stars including Lucy Boynton and Ansel Elgort elevated their red carpet looks by adding dramatic silver hues to their eyes.
Brushed up brows
Let’s just say the brushed up brow isn’t going anywhere fast. Celebs like Jonelle Monae and Scarlett Johansson perfected this look on the Oscars red carpet.
Side parts
One of the biggest trends this year was the side part, worn by those with both long and short hair. Some opting for sleek and shiny and others for a more Hollywood glam look.
Bold red lip
The classic red lip is a true Hollywood staple on the red carpet. Stars like Chrisy Metz and Margot Robbie both rocked the heck out of this look.
Wacky nails
Wild nail art is definitely having a moment, especially at The Grammys with stars like Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Rosalia taking this trend to the extreme.
