Holly Howe‘s latest jewellery collection has just been released and it’s a stunning range called Parallels which comprises of eight pairs of winsome earrings. Designer Holly Simpson-Howe has previously created collections that had more of a focus on rings so for this collection she wanted to create a body of work around one style. The resulting collection has a beautiful contemporary feel with a mix of statement earring styles and studs, each piece is also available in silver or gold.
“As always I am drawing my inspiration from Architecture and object,” says Holly. “This time using Piranesi’s etching of buildings as a starting point. My focus started to direct itself towards columns and capitals, I think this is especially reflected in my Duo Pillar Studs. The pieces in this collection are elegant while showing strength and simplicity.”
Each piece of jewellery is meticulously handmade by Holly in her Dunedin studio and her modern designs are stocked throughout the country as well as her online store.
