Following on from the success of Heidi Klum Swim‘s launch last year, this Resort 2017 season sees the brand release a third collection of stunning swimwear in time for the summer months. Supermodel and Creative Director Heidi Klum has created a suitably summery campaign with the beach lover in her element in the clear blue water of beautiful Santa Monica, California.
“As a Creative Director and Designer, my biggest goal in swimwear is great fit, function and fun!” says Klum. “I wanted this season’s campaign to reflect this. I love the feeling of the hot sun on my skin and splashing in the water. I had the best time shooting my 2017 campaign with my friend Francesco Carrozzini. The images exude the feeling of Heidi Klum Swim. We had a total blast.”
The new collection is comprised of Klum’s signature silhouettes and is designed to cater to different shapes and sizes with fifteen silhouettes available in the range. Everything from triangle tops to tankinis, eight bikini bottoms from tie side to high waisted, seven one-pieces styles and a variety of cover-ups feature in the colourful collection. Klum’s playful nature comes through in plunging necklines, sexy eyelet lace up details, metallic grommets and rose gold trims that are also on trend for the season. She was inspired by the islands of Seychelles in the Indian Ocean and the exclusive custom prints are designed to reflect her tropical inspiration with semi shimmery fabrics making things modern and glamorous for beach days.
