Harris Tapper‘s sublime new Resort 20 collection is out now with designers and co-founders Sarah Harris Gould and Lauren Tapper offering a full range of 40 pieces this season. The collection features the brand’s signature sophisticated shirting alongside elegantly tailored suiting, beautiful dresses, full skirts and sleek trenches offering some new twists on the modern woman’s wardrobe.
The brand is four seasons in now with Harris Tapper already amassing a loyal following for their clever designs. They launched in 2017 with a collection of elevated shirting that was focused on quality fabrics and smart tailoring. As demand grew they evolved the brand into bigger ranges and debuted their first full collection last season which was very well received.
“When we started Harris Tapper, our aim was to provide beautifully cut, high-quality shirting that can be worn year round – this first full collection is simply an expansion of that, it’s never going to be overly trend driven, we are committed to designing beautiful wardrobes for women that work with their lifestyles,” says co-founder Sarah Harris Gould.
With the brand’s Resort collection they’ve built on their previous signatures styles as well as offering new ideas that are uncomplicated and fresh. Sarah and Lauren’s designs are driven by their customer, who is an intelligent, modern woman who is looking for considered pieces that complement her refined lifestyle.
“What’s particularly important to us, and our customer, is steadily building a wardrobe of considered pieces that stay with the wearer years beyond a season,” says co-founder Lauren Tapper.
This season offers some wonderful contemporary pieces with the designers playing with proportion and fluidity to create interesting silhouettes. Exaggerated shoulders feature on gorgeous silk tops and dresses while sleek trenches and skirts add to the timeless feel of this range. Suitably soft knits and tees are perfectly paired with wide legged trousers that feature eyelet details. The brand’s favoured shirting is included as oversized shirts that are oh so easy to wear and mid-length shirt dresses that are both able to worn all year round.
