Take to the slopes and wintery outdoors in fashion-forward style,
as Halfdays apparel officially launches in NZ
Outdoor apparel just got a whole lot more enticing, with the official launch of the US-born brand Halfdays in New Zealand.
Perfectly timed for the winter chill, this trailblazing brand combines flattering and stylish design with technical performance across core key outdoor wear.
Whether your winter plans include hiking, an après outfit, or sleek skiwear, function meets elevated fashion with Halfdays fashion-forward approach to outdoor sports.
Founded by Ariana Ferwerda and Olympic freestyle aerial skier Kiley McKinnon, the pair initially set out to create a direct-to-consumer skiwear brand designed by women, for women. Their combined experience led the way and Halfdays soared in popularity
“Accessibility, approachability, and comfort are at the heart of each Halfdays collection,” says co-founder Ariana Ferwerda.
“Each design is fused with all you need, and nothing you don’t. From the variety of models in brand imagery to the placement of pockets on each jacket, every decision that’s made for Halfdays is made intentionally for women.”
On a mission to blaze new trails, Halfdays enters the Australian and New Zealand markets with its ultra-chic and performance-driven skiwear and transeasonal outerwear lines. The brand’s expansion marks a significant milestone as it continues to grow its global presence beyond the USA and Canada and establish itself as a leading and fashionable player in the snow sports industry.
“We’ve been thrilled with the response from our community while filling the gap in the US market, but we want more women to have access to technical gear that is made specifically for them. Our Australia and New Zealand expansion is just the beginning, and we hope that one day we can help women everywhere feel more welcome and included in an industry where they were once ignored,” says co-founder Kiley McKinnon.
Halfdays is available online now.
