Gubb & Mackie's Womenswear Debut

Antonia de Vere in Gubb & Mackie's Stevie Dora shirt

Shirts are a classic clothing item that every size, shape and gender can wear and appreciate, so it makes sense that Gubb & Mackie's womenswear debut is a carefully curated capsule collection of six shirts. Utilising the same traditional techniques and machinery that Gubb & Mackie use to craft their menswear range, these new shirts are well designed and represent their idea of the perfect, practical shirt. The collection includes a sweet floral print, a bold plaid, a fine stripe and a couple of different blues along with a crisp white, which makes for good choices and a wonderful edit.

As part of their new range launch, Gubb & Mackie introduced a womenswear ambassador programme to work with creative professionals who share the same ethos and values as their brand. The first two ambassadors are florist Antonia de Vere from Markantonia and baker Jordan Rondel of The Caker, both women were photographed documentary-style in their chosen shirts going about their professional lives with a charming result.

Arriving in store and online today, just in time for Christmas, no doubt these shirts will be a popular choice for women who want high quality shirting that is refined yet effortless to wear.
