Spring/Summer looks from Goodness’ own label on the runway. Images supplied.
Beloved Wellington brand Goodness recently hosted a beautiful Spring/Summer fashion show at L’affare in Wellington, showcasing their own in-house label and a selection of their designer brands. It was a wonderful night with 150 fashion fans keen to see the carefully curated selection Goodness offers, as well as its own gorgeous label also titled Goodness.
Founder and designer, Chris Hales, chose to create the show to celebrate the growing loyalty for the Goodness label and its position as her biggest selling and most-loved brand for the first time. Chris originally created the label to ‘fill the gaps in styling in her multi brand stores with garments that reflected her own aesthetic – a nod to all the classics, with updated styling, detail and fabrications.’
That the Goodness label has now become a success in its own right is a testament to Chris’ sharp eye for style and love of wearable designs that easily work with the modern women’s wardrobe. Goodness’ Spring/Summer 2018/19 collection features elegant looks to take the wearer from work to the weekend or into the evening in pieces that are versatile and fresh. This season Chris took inspiration from the artist Matisse for her sculptural styling and luscious colour palette.
Goodness [label] is sold exclusively in Goodness Wellington stores and online.
