GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES new range will transport you back to the ’80s. Images supplied.
When we think about an ’80s summer, we think fun pool parties, backcombed hair with thick scrunchies, fruity cocktails and all the neon swimsuits. GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES‘ Summer ’22 collection will transport you back to this eclectic era with two brand new releases for their candle collection that are out now.
Introducing “Pool Party,” – Peony and Orchid conjure a party zone bedecked with Pink Petals, while zesty Pink Grapefruit, Rhubarb and Jasmine tea are as refreshing as a midnight dip. You will be walking on sunshine when you smell this zingy, fruity, marine fine fragrance.
With their second new limited edition candle, “Pretty in Pink,” – Put on your ra ra skirt and over the top make-up, it’s time for ’80s girl bands on the stereo and a dance floor full of girls who just wanna have fun. This truly outrageous, fine fragrance is completely unforgettable. Exuberant Raspberry cupcake and glace Cherry start the party, swirled with powdery Almond and Cherry Blossom. A creamy sophisticated gourmand scent.
Nicole Eckels, Founder of GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES says, “Of all seasons, Summer is the standout. Many of our most joyful, electric moments happen in Summer. So, we work to create scents that capture feelings and in particular parties and being poolside. This limited-edition Summer Duo includes two brand new fine fragrances. Both are artful and distinctive, and I think some of our best work.”
Artist Sarah Fordham elaborates on the dream collaboration with GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES, “The idea behind this series of designs was actually sparked by an exciting visit to my studio by GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES Founder, Nicole Eckels. As Nicole described these new scents she was developing, this in turn inspired the design of these summery concepts through the pink and blue colour schemes. I think final designs speak to the fun of sunny days.”
Australian artist, Sarah Fordham’s stunning artwork comes to life on the new collection’s knockout packaging. With graphic designs in pops of neon that feature on the vessels as well as the box packaging featuring bespoke typography. The result is a playful treat for the eyes and the senses.
