“I just love this year’s t-shirt.  Everyone’s clambering to get their hands on one and we love who we’re seeing wearing them around town! The tee is a superb way of showing support for patients with blood cancers.”

Broadcaster Hilary Barry said:
"Shave for a Cure is a fantastic way for Kiwis to show their support for friends and family dealing with leukaemia and other blood cancers and for those who aren't brave enough to lose their hair, the t-shirt's a great way of joining in."

Shave12 runs between 26-31 March and is a national fundraising initiative for raising money to fund Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand’s core services such as patient support and research.  Over 1,300 Kiwis have already signed up to Shave this year.

Blood cancers can strike anyone, of any age, at any time and they’re currently on the rise.  In fact six children and adults are diagnosed each day in New Zealand with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or a related blood condition.
