diptyque Do Son Limited Edition Collection, RRP $67 – $267

The latest limited edition offering from diptique is Do Son, described as ‘the call of an elsewhere: a journey of the senses and the imagination, an irresistible invitation to another place’. One of diptyque’s founders, Yves Coueslant, spent his childhood summers at the seaside in the pagoda that his father had built in Do Son, in the Along Bay. Far from the humid heat of the large port in Haiphong, the air was cooler. The sea breeze carried with it the heady and slightly spicy scent of tuberoses that his mother so loved. Some perfumes have the incredible power to transport us to other times, to other horizons. Do Son is a fragrance that tells of the love story between Yves and this faraway land, its heady fragrance heightens our senses and entices our soul and our imagination on a journey. Remembering the fresh, heady and slightly spicy scent of tuberose mixed with the sea breeze.
