Commercial Bay in Auckland’s CBD is due to open later this month with the new shopping destination offering lots of fashion retailers including a mix of local and international brands. The retail precinct is now 100 percent leased with Precinct Properties revealing the final lineup of retailers that will open their doors soon.

“Ensuring the heart of Auckland city has an unparalleled retail offering is something that has been front of mind for us. Commercial Bay is unlike other developments seen in this part of the world – and not just in scale,” says Precinct Properties Chief Executive, Scott Pritchard. “Each retailer has been carefully considered so that all Commercial Bay visitors, from those working nearby to international guests to our city, all enjoy a truly world-class shopping and food and beverage experience.”

Among the new internationals to be announced are Australian streetwear brand General Pants Co. which will open its third New Zealand location. Last month we told you that London-based fashion brand COS would open its doors in New Zealand and now it has been announced that Commercial Bay will be the brand’s first retail location. Popular Australian activewear brand Lorna Jane will also be launching a new retail store for the first time in Auckland too. While modern Australian womenswear brand Aje will open their second Auckland store at Commercial Bay.

Among the local fashion brands who will take up residence is the likes of STORM, Federation, Superette, Rodd & Gunn, 3 Wise Men, Scarpa, twenty-seven names and Barkers.

A go-to retail destination, Commercial Bay will have over 100 retailers across fashion, food and beverage, beauty and specialty retail when it opens in late March.
