Moochi look from Fashion For A Cure.
Fashion For a Cure returns to Hamilton next Thursday 9th June after its successful debut there in 2015. The event was created by Breast Cancer Cure (BCC) which is a New Zealand not-for-profit organisation established solely to support research into breast cancer. Every year it creates and hosts different events around the country to help raise funds to find a cure for breast cancer.
“With one of the highest incidence rates in the world here in New Zealand, there is an urgent need to find a breast cancer cure and stop it in its tracks, and our supporters are vital to helping turn that vision into a reality,” says Phillipa Green from BCC. “Our work continues to grow in importance, especially as breast cancer in New Zealand grows at epidemic proportions. The lives of more than 660 New Zealand women of all ages and all walks of life are being lost each year to this disease."
Fashion For a Cure is supported by ASB and is an exclusive night of fashion that sees ten of New Zealand’s top designers including Trelise Cooper, Andrea Moore, Working Style, Zambesi, Storm, Moochi, COOP and Taylor showcase their latesr collections on the runway. All proceeds from the night will go directly towards BCC’s goal of finding a cure for breast cancer.
