Q.I’m going to the races this year but I hate wearing dresses, is it ok to wear trousers?

A great alternative for you to consider is a stylish pantsuit or a pair of feminine shorts!

Q. I have got lots of events to go to over the next few months (mainly weddings) but my budget won’t stretch to new a new outfit for each, what are the best pieces for me to invest in?

A dress that includes an A-Line skirt is a great staple garment as it is extremely versatile, this style will suit a range of figures and events. Belts and a bolero are another cost efficient purchase.

Q. I haven’t bought a new pair of togs for years as I try to avoid wearing them as much as possible, but this year we are going on a family holiday to the Sunshine Coast. My problem areas are my tummy and bottom, what would you recommend I look for in a new swimsuit?

The trick to finding a flattering swimsuit is to choose pieces that will highlight your best features. In your case, you should pick a darker pair of bottoms as the colour will help to camouflage your "problem areas".

When selecting the top half of your swimsuit, select a piece that is patterned or bright in colour as this will draw attention away from your bottom-heavy figure. Avoid bottoms that have busy prints and horizontal stripes as this will draw attention downwards. Swimsuits that include embellished tops will work wonders for your figure!

Q. Are hats in fashion? I’d like to wear one to a garden wedding, but don’t know where to start!

Hatinators are going to be a big hit this wedding season! The gorgeous headwear will make you look super chic and is guaranteed to set you apart from the crowd! A casual straw and wide brimmed sun hat is the ideal style for garden weddings.
