Looks from Ovna Ovich’s latest chapter
Designer Marina Davis showcases the continuing evolution of her Ovna Ovich label with the release of her latest Chapter 18 The Joy.
Infused with a sense of brightness and happiness, while fabric and colour choices are cohesively minimal, energy and life flow through the collection with pops of cobalt and sunshine, alongside gentle tones of sage, chestnut, and classic black.
Since launching her contemporary womenswear label in 2012, Marina has stayed true to her early commitment around sustainable and environmentally responsible clothing. The elegant offerings frequently include a small nod to her Russian heritage and a fluidity of movement inspired by her background in dancing and performance.
This season’s offerings feature tantalising glimpses of skin, with sheer fabrics, and peek-a-boo shapes. Garments are ruched, gathered, wrapped and folded, adjusting to individual bodies, with hemp woven into the collection, meeting the brand’s ever-evolving commitment to more suitable fibre alternatives.
