Making their NZFW debut this year, Shen, brought a dose of sleek modernity to the runway with a collection comprised of soft textures and luxurious fabrics.
Opening the show with models having their finishing touches applied by the styling team, it was a glimpse into the groomed world of the Shen woman.
Presenting a confident collection full of feminine pieces with silhouettes ranging from the sleek and fitted to loosely draped and softly flowing, this collection was all about clever tailoring and beautiful fabrics.
Rich jacquards and warm wools complemented sheer chiffons and silks, toughened up with leather. A bold gold paisley print on dresses and a jumpsuit made for stunning evening looks.
This collection was definitely perfect for office to evening wear with a range of outfits for pretty much every kind of day and a range of elegant suiting that lends versatility to the Shen wardrobe.
The delicate lace and delightful knits added a loveliness that was enhanced by the sky blue and olive highlight tones. Black was the anchor to the collection and is of course an extremely popular choice in NZ.
It’s not hard to see how this range could be easily adapted into most women’s wardrobes.

Classic pieces with fresh appeal mixed with more directional looks and flattering cuts made for a very considered and confident NZFW debut by Shen.
The highlights were definitely the luxurious seventies-inspired eveningwear, well-cut trenches and gorgeous fluid dresses.
This collection will definitely increase Shen’s covetability factor this coming winter.
