The fashion industry was out in full force last night, attending the NZFF opening party and kicking off a week of fresh, fashionable fun.
The venue was stunning, with the flexible expanse that is Shed 10 being converted in to two separate spaces – one with the runway, and the other with several bars and social areas.
There were plenty of areas in which to sit and relax, each with its own theme (not to mention, super comfy couches!). The Chambord bar was serving up delicious cocktails, and attendees got the chance to sample the yummy-ness that is Chambord-flavoured vodka: with a hint of the goodness of Chambord, but allowing itself to be mixed with a variety of different drinks, making it the perfect addition to a night out (or in).
The Olive Bar was serving up divine appetisers, centred primarily around different cheeses and fruits. As well as numerous other beverages, there was also Peroni soda on hand to keep party-goers hydrated.
As always, the event provided a great chance to mingle with others in the industry, network, catch up with old friends, and generally to soak in the unique atmosphere that can only come with a fashion event.
All in all, a great night, providing us with just a taste of what's to come all week at New Zealand Fashion Festival.
