Listen up fashionistas! Why? Because tickets are now able to be purchased for NZ Fashion Weekend and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever before!
Following on from the New Zealand Fashion Week trade event, NZ Fashion Weekend (Sept 8-Sept 9) gives you, the public, the chance to enjoy everything associated with Fashion Week.
Just like last year’s successful event, the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland will be buzzing with excitement as ticket holders enjoy and experience stunning catwalk shows, seminars, beauty, discounted designer shopping, giveaways, DJs, and stylish bars.
Fashion Weekend really is the place to be to experience the energy of Fashion Week and organisers are promising to provide something for everyone, with the most exciting line up to date!
NZFW Brand Manager Myken Stewart says with so much going on this year, a full weekend was needed to fit everything in.
“It has allowed us to break up the vibe across the event too, with a younger feel on the Saturday and slightly more mature mood on the Sunday,” she says. “We’ve kept all the favourite picks from last year’s schedule such as the New Zealand Weddings Magazine Collection and Phoenix Cosmetics Show, and added some exciting new designers and seminars. You’ll see other fantastic brands such as KMS, Body Shop, Orly and QVS showcased around the venue too. ”
Making the event even more accessible to the public, the standard ticket price has been dropped to just $15. For this price attendees will be provided with an allocated seat to a show or seminar. They can also check out the Designer Garage Sale and make the most of the fun activities happening on the ground floor. Brands on site include the Samsung Experience, QVS eyelash bar, Magic Tan nail bar, Ecostore Experience, The Body Shop make-up, the Remix ‘Custom Cover’ photo booth and KMS Hair Styling.
Even more exciting is the new NZ Fashion Weekend VIP Package. At $150, this ultimate Fashion Week package provides incredible value for money, offering tickets to multiple shows, access to everything on site, and goodie bags.
The spectacular Designer Selection Shows produced by Marissa Findlay is back again in 2012, and this is the perfect chance to experience the glitz and glamour of New Zealand Fashion Week, while watching a showcase of the finest selection the 2012 NZFW designers have to offer. With more than 40 designers showing across the week, there really is something for everyone, from in-season outfits to a sneak preview of upcoming Autumn/Winter 2013 collections. Oh, and every attendee of the Designer Selection Show receives a highly sought after New Zealand Fashion Week goodie bag full of valuable sponsor treats too.
As always, the Designer Garage Sale continues to be a star attraction over the weekend. What’s more, with designers already confirmed including Lonely Hearts, Sabatini, Chaos & Harmony shoes, Deborah Sweeney, Sheryl May, Bettie Monroe, Louche and Blak, it’s bound to be shopping heaven! There will be new stock on both days of the sale so be sure to pencil some shopping time into your diary and head down to grab a bargain.
