The Autumn-Winter 2014 collection, titled ‘Capture This,’ featured Schmidt’s signature style of exquisite tailoring and timeless classic pieces. In a nod to her debut solo show at New Zealand Fashion Week, jackets, shirts, dresses & skirts featured a patterned print, reminiscent of a camera flash.
Teamed with perfectly tailored pants and skirts – the entire collection was effortlessly chic, wearable and impeccably finished.
Draped knitwear, faux fur capes and structured jackets in muted tones made for the perfect pairing with the remainder of Schmidt’s winter range of which consisted of a beautiful colour palette featuring soft tones and rich reds.
Through her winter 14’ collection Schmidt has proven that by applying a modern interpretation to classic shapes, her pieces are timeless and appealing to woman of all ages.
