Kicking off on Friday, September 6, Fashion Weekend will include a glamorous Friday night opening party, thanks to Red Bull Studios, followed by two full days of fashion and lifestyle for the public to enjoy.
There are limited public tickets available to Friday night’s opening party so, if you fancy rubbing shoulders with some of the country’s favourite fashion designers and VIPs, this is the place to seen but be quick!
It’s show time on Saturday, September 7, with Annah Stretton’s ‘COME ON OZ, SAY I DO’ show, YMCA’s Raise Up Walk to Line show and the A.Ok, All on K’ Rd which presents -Hailwood, Jimmy D, Lela Jacobs and Maiike. There will be seminars by Smashbox and KMS too, the latter taking global hair fashion trends and show you how they can be transformed for everyday wear.
“We’re so excited to launch our first round of tickets for NZ Fashion Weekend,” says NZ Fashion Weekend organiser, Myken Stewart. “We have some of NZ’s top designer shows, lifestyle seminars, shopping (Designer Garage Sale), beauty and lifestyle activations plus heaps more to announce. We are especially lucky to have everything under one roof at the Viaduct Event Centre which provides an incredible setting for this fashionable weekend.”
The Activation Lounge will be packed full of the ‘wow’ factor with brands such as MAC, Osmosis Skin Care, KMS, Body Shop and Verdo Nails. Ticket holders will be able to experience these brands with one-to-one consultations, advice, competitions and gifts to take home.
